With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Lynn Young of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester C. Snider and Pearl L. Snider (Brant); her significant other Roy Sleezer; her daughter Shelly; and her brother Ronnie.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Moore (Curt) of Ankeny and Edwin Young, Jr. (Helen) of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Ryan, Laney, Nicolas, Peyton, Jaime, Steven and Skylar; and her siblings, Carmen, May, Paula and Robert. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
