He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Monaghan (Zhen Xiao); his daughter-in-law Ann Monaghan; his grandchildren, Patrick Monaghan and Korbi McCassland; and his sister-in-law Susan Westlund.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (5711 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Cemetery.
