Donald Lee Trotter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Trotter of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Trotter and JoAnna Trotter; and his brother Douglas Trotter. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Trotter (Nicole) of Altoona, IA and Matthew Trotter of Des Moines, IA; his siblings, David Trotter (Tami) of Leavenworth, KS and Dee Dorsett (Wendell Hess) of Albia, IA; and his grandchildren, Emma, Avery and Weston.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brightside Aleworks (480 Center Pl, Altoona, IA 50009).
