Doris W. Belcher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris W. Belcher (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on August 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Storz and Kurt Storz; and her son-in-law Greg Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her husband Dale L. Belcher; her children, David Little (Sherri) and Susan Wallace (Steve); her stepdaughter Kristy Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Eric Little (Angie), Nicole Clark (Greg), Jared Fink and Bradley Simpson; and her stepgrandchildren, Chad Wallace (Robin), Shane Wallace (Megan), Lea Fitzgerald, Samantha Fitzgerald and Allie Utterback (Andrew). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
