She was predeceased by: her parent Samuel Singleton Sr.; her stepmother Betty Singleton Cruse; her husbands, James Brown and Clarence McQuerry (Mose); her daughter Charisse Singleton (Brown); and her siblings, Timothy Singleton, James Singleton and Sandra Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, Charmaine Wade, James Brown and Rodney Singleton Sr.; her grandchildren, Nikki, Terri, Tanesha, Davonna, Charisse, Rodney Jr. and Ardelle; her great grandchildren, Darshan, Zahj, Tyeece, Naria and Marcy; her great great grandchildren, Jursei, Dia and DeVonni; her siblings, Pam Williams, Sheila Carson, Aurelia Singleton, Sam Singleton Jr., Sherry Singleton, Richard Singleton and Laural Clinton; and her close friends, Juanita Peyton and Floria Minor. She is also survived by extended family, church family and friends.
