He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Ziel and Rita Ziel; and his pet Wrigley. He is survived by: his brother Harlan F. Ziel (Louise); and his nephews, Jeff Ziel (Kellie) and Greg Ziel (Angela). He is also survived by 4 great nieces; and 1 great nephew.
