She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Murphy and Rose Murphy (Boardman); her siblings, Rosemary Griffin and Edward Murphy; and her son Mark Holton.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Henry Holton; her daughter Kristine VanWinkle (Kevin); her grandson Jacob VanWinkle; and her daughter Laura Reece (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (15 Indianola Rd, Des Moines, IA 50315). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
