It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Petersen of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willison Chaney, Jr. and Wilma Chaney; and her children, Gina Louise Petersen and Mark Gordon Jutting. She is survived by: her husband Gene Petersen; her children, Rosemary Walker (Denny) and Daniel Jutting (Melody); her grandchildren, Joshua Walker (Kimberly), Jacqueline Walker, Julie Shank (Bruce), Emily Cave (Paul) and Hannah Jutting; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Sawyer Shank, River and Willow Walker; and her sister Judy Cleaveland (Paul).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Carlisle.
