It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Allan Kunkel of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Mark Kunkel of Remsen, Iowa and Doris Kunkel (Rolfes); his siblings, Kent Kunkel of Waukee, IA, Kyle Kunkel (Charlotte Holub-Kunkel) of Le Mars, IA, Michelle Haage of Le Mars, IA and Evan Kunkel (Heidi Ploen-Kunkel) of Marcus, IA.; his nieces, Mackenzie, Braelee, Kendall and Abylnn; his grandparents, Donald, Mavis Kunkel, Francis Rolfes and Nancy Rolfes; and also, Lawson, Maddox, Myles and Abram.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be send to The University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, Mail to P. O. Box 4550, Iowa City, IA 52244.
