He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Mettler and Walter Mettler; his brother Mark Mettler; and his brother-in-law Rodger Schrader. He is survived by: his wife Deanna; and his children, Peter Mettler, Niles Mettler (Callah), Leslie Mettler (Greg Allen) and Matthew Bresley (Elizabeth). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, with one more expected; one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
