Ethel Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 6, 2025, at the age of 86, Ethel Johnson (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Towne and Magdalene Towne; her husband Lawrence Johnson; her son Randy; her siblings, Harriet Cornwell, Sharon Hanning and Harold Towne, Sr.; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Edith Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Johnson (Sandy) of Des Moines and Bob Johnson of Sioux City, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Hanning, Leona Towne and Bonnie Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
