We are sad to announce that, on January 29, 2024, at the age of 101, Fern Stevenson Gillespie (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Hampton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Howard and Rosamund Victoria Howard (Cook); her former husband Lloyd Stevenson; her husband Dale Gillespie; and her children, Dennis Stevenson and Margaret Stevenson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Northouse, Carol Reeves and Susan Kinzer (James); and her grandchildren, Jack Dennis, Michelle Voshell, Kasandra Stevenson, Erica Stevenson, Allie Stevenson, Casey Land, Adrian Carter, Chris Kinzer and John Kinzer. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Eastside Senior Center.
