He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lester and Marian Lester (Curtis); his siblings, Cliff Lester, Helen VanZandt, Larry Lester and Vern Lester; and his sibling-in-law Lee Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Lester; his sons, Mark Lester and John Lester (Jayna); his grandchildren, Nikki Hastings (Jake), Marky Lester II, Alex Lester (Jenny), Kenzie Mcbee (Gary), Jonathan Lester (Addi) and Dakota Lester (Emily); and his brothers, Bob, Babe, Frank, Rich and Gerald Lester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
