Frederic T. Gruening Obituary

We bid farewell to Frederic T. Gruening (Des Moines, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Arvilla (Jarnagin) and Frederic S. Gruening; and his wife Charlotte Gruening (LaRae). He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Barnes (Paul), Debra McGhee (Doug), Scott Gruening (Darla) and Teresa Corbin (Robert). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
