Gary Sawyer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Sawyer (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sawyer and Betty Sawyer; and his brothers, Michael Sawyer and Donnie Sawyer. He is survived by: his girlfriend Deborah Flores; his children, Tonya Momanyi, Angela Wright, Gary Sawyer, Jr. and Khloe Sawyer; his grandchildren, Brittney, Kassandra, Christina, Amina, Wesley, Krissy, Steven, Renee, Nijiiah, Rhiian, Everlii and Audriiana; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Ayden; and his sister Karle Sawyer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Gary.
