Gloria Wilson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Wilson (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brooke McCracken, Sr. and Margaret Pauline McCracken (Lindsay); her siblings, Barbara Jane Parkey and Fred McCracken, Jr.; her great grandchild Ella Melody Cannaday; and her goddaughter Yvonne Sloan Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Robert V. Wilson "Bobby"; her daughter Donise Cannaday; her stepsons, Danny Wilson (Jeanine) and Todd Adams; her grandchildren, Sterling Cannaday, Lindsay Cannaday, Bailey Irvin, Ashley Robinson (Anthony), Marianna Adams and Porsha Wilson; her great grandchildren, Ryan Stevenson, Kyson Hubers, Jaylon Hubers, Antoine Robinson and Heiress Contreras; her brother Sylvester McCracken (Mary Dean); her aunt Margaret May; and her friends, Hazel Sloan, Camille Bradley, Celeste Davis and Elaine "Sissy" Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
