She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Johnson and Alta Johnson (Olson); her husband Duane Bain; her siblings-in-law, Wayne and Jeanette Bain; and her sister Carolann Henry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristine Shepard-Bain (Jack) and Diane Christensen (Eric); her grandchildren, Marie, Helena and Devin; her nieces, Teresa Olson and Colleen Louw; and her brother-in-law Dean Henry. She is also survived by several relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association Iowa Chapter.
