We are sad to announce that, on September 24, 2023, at the age of 94, Grace Jones in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McLaughlin and Mary Ellen Cavanaugh McLaughlin; her husband Dr. Robert Jones; and her siblings, James McLaughlin, Rosemary O'Malley, Joann Magnuson and John McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her daughter Mollie Jones Smithson (David); her granddaughters, Eliza, Maria of Kate, J. P. and Madeline; her daughter Cindy Jones Helgason (Mike); her grandchildren, Pete and Robbie; her son Tim Jones; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Christian and Haley. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
