It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harlan H. Thomas Sr. (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Hazel Thomas (Jefferson); his daughter Robin Thomas Cotto; and his granddaughter Lois Thomas. He is survived by: his wife April Thomas; his children, Vincent Thomas (Rhonda), Lois Thomas, Harlan Thomas, Jr. (Dawn), Bill Thomas Randolph (Jerry), Paul Thomas and Torrey Thomas; his stepchildren, Taurean Murray, Sr. (Jennie) and Tamicka Murray (Peter); and his siblings, Sharon Tate and Herbert "Herbie" Thomas. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
