He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bierma and Emily Bierma; his wife Patricia Davis; his siblings, Don and Shirley; and his son-in-law Michael Ribbey.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Ribbey and David Bierma (Christy); his grandchildren, Teague Ribbey, Katherine Caballero (Aaron), Alec Bierma (Simone) and Abbey Woodbeck (Zach); his great grandchild Sophie Bierma; his sister Jeanette Davis; and his sister-in-law Bev Bierma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Prairie Vista Village at the above address, or to the Iowa Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 34024 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Adel, IA 50003.
