It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Darrell Hibbs of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Hibbs and Alice Milbourn Hibbs. He is survived by: his wife Jean Tschantz; and his children, Linda Sommerhauser of Kearney, Missouri, Daniel Hibbs (Sandra) of Conrath, David Hibbs (Joy) of Urbandale and Douglas Hibbs (Aileen) of Winterset, Iowa. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Douglas Avenue Presbyterian Church.
