We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2022, at the age of 85, Helen M. Yerkey of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Kansas City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Meyer and Carl Meyer. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Stephens, Kathy Hatlie (Norton) and Kris Rowe; her grandchildren, Shannon Micek (JR), Annie Keenan (Logan), Katie Hatlie, Nicole Rowe (Connor) and Natalie Rowe; her great grandchildren, Cassy, Spencer, Ashley, Melanie and Lincoln; and her sisters, Theresa Meyer Edgeton and Mary Meyer Flores. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that any memorial donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Taylor House Hospice.
