He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gertsen and Dolores Gertsen (Welch); and his son Andrew Gertsen. He is survived by: his children, Henry Gertsen (Sarah) and Regina Kindig; his stepchildren, April Shindelar and Corey Henderson; his grandchildren, Mia, Dominic and Noelle; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, Hunter and Maddie. He is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
