He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Zee and Thelma Van Zee. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Patricia Webster (Matthew) and Sherry Largesse (Rick); his grandchildren, Derek Webster (Eva), Daniel Webster, Beau Largesse and Evelyn Largesse; and his siblings, Lloyd Van Zee, Judith Van Zee and Lila Hendricks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
A burial will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at the Rising Sun Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
