She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Huston and Irma Charlotte Bement (Jacobson); her husband Richard Lee Eis (Dick); and her sister Edna Strobel. She is survived by: her children, Keith Eis (Nancy) of Des Moines, Beth Campney (Ben) of Des Moines, Karen Eis of Des Moines, Carol Eis of Des Moines and Ann Mallams (Steve) of Mt. Union; her grandchildren, Erica Eis, Austin Eis (Dana), Carla Olson (Eric), Daniel Sherman, Julie Brown (Mitch), Jessica Streeter (Seth) and Jacob Mallams; her brother Fred Bement of Silverthorne, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Parks of Mt. Pleasant and Beverly Sage of Waterloo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to Des Moines University so the committal will be at a later date at Parr Cemetery, near Muscatine, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bidwell Riverside Center, Bonaparte Food Pantry or the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Acres.
