He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard L. Bergman and Mary Pilmaier; and his parents, Ralph Bergman and Anna Bergman (Lewandowski). He is survived by: his wife Bernice Bergman (Biewen) of Clive; and his sisters, Dorothy Heimgartner of California and Margaret Durbala of Des Moines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
