He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Carnahan and Hugh Carnahan; his wife Kinney; and his brothers, Bill and Ron.
He is survived by: his children, Maya Johnston (Ethan), Erin Carnahan and Tavian Carnahan; his grandchildren, Maddie, Lydia, Hayden and Keshon; his great grandchild Ezra of Des Moines; and his siblings, Ruth McAnally (Bettendorf), Carol Carnahan (Des Moines), Fred Carnahan (Bettendorf) and Gene Carnahan (Colorado). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law and multiple nieces and nephews.
