We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2022, at the age of 91, James Edward Brommel (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brommel and Marie Brommel (McCarthy); his siblings, Alice Fath and Edward Brommel; his son John Brommel; and his granddaughter Briana Brommel.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; and his children, Carol Bartles (Robert), Jim Brommel (Joy), Mary Large (Alan), David Brommel (Kathy) and Jean Brommel (David Pitt). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Jim's name can be made to the Pink Tractor Foundation, St. Marys Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas.
