He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Farrell and Florence Farrell; and his siblings, Margaret Jean Mally and Richard Farrell. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Farrell; his children, Brian Farrell, Kurt Farrell (Marianne) and Julie Bryan (Kyle); his stepchildren, Jacque, Jan, Julie and Joy; his grandchildren, Collin Bryan (Steph), Caleb Bryan and Brianna Smith; and his great grandchildren, Tait Bryan and Caden Bryan. He is also survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elk's Lodge (5420 E University Ave, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327).
