Though James Fred may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Kirkpatrick and Fred Kirkpatrick; and his wife Barb. He is survived by: his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Darrell; and his brother George (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
