He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kane and Anna Kane; his wife Anita Kane (Mirr); and his siblings, Margaret, Don, John, Lee, Helen and Harriette.
He is survived by: his children, Jim, Sean and Kelly; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Hoover, Janet Robinson and Dale Mirr (Lana). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to either Pheasants Forever or the Alzheimer's Association.
