He is survived by: his children, Chris Monahan (Carolyn), Beth Langford (Wes), Mike Monahan (Teresa), Stacey Jackson (Shea) and Sue Foecke (Ben); and his sister Sally. He is also survived by 9 grandkids.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Iles Dunn Funeral Home (2121 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312).
