James S. Patton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James S. Patton (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Patton, Sr. (Lawrence); his wife Cindy; his son James "Tuffy" Patton; his father Virgil Patton, Sr.; and his sisters, Pearl Moon, Lenora Bradley and Kimberly Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Danielle Davis-Hellems (Johnny), Richard Patton, Robert Patton and Anton Nichols (Pamela); and his siblings, Barbara Frazier, Virgil Patton, Jr. (Mitzy), Freda Williams, Stanley Patton (Pam), Phillip Patton (Tina), Lynn Patton and Joseph Patton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other extended family, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309).
