She is survived by: her children, Rick Flaherty (Gretchen), Lynn Rose (Rusty) and Kristi Troncin (Troy); her siblings, Cheryl Barber, Dwight Porter, Randy Porter and Ginnie Clark; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Oscar, Carter, Camden and Grace. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Janice's name would be appreciated to Food Bank of Iowa or a desired children's charitable organization of your choosing.
