She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Lee Shepherd (Karla) and Nicole Vance (Aaron); her grandchildren, Lauren Horness (Justin), AJ Vance, Samantha Shepherd and Kyle Costello; her great grandchild Weston; her siblings, Jim Smith (Becky), Lisa Rowe (Kris) and Lori Slack (Rod); and her pet Harley.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
