We announce the death of Jeff Wachuta of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 48. Jeff will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his daughter Juniper Wachuta (Gage Sheeler); his parents, James Wachuta and Janet Wachuta; his wife Alicia Vreugdenhil; his sister Jennifer Fugate (Rob); his niece Rylie; his nephew Jason Fugate; his parents-in-law, Doug and Valerie Vreugdenhil; and his pets, Charlie and Olive.
