He was predeceased by: his parents, Orian Davis and Geneva Davis (Dyer); his stepson Bryon Howard; his brother-in-law John Schmidt; and his nephew Nick Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Marks-Davis; his children, Donnie Davis, Anthony Davis, Peyton Davis, Brylee Davis and Brandon Howard (Ashley); his grandchildren, Paige Davis, Dominick Howard and Elizabeth Johnson; his siblings, George Davis (Jackie), Rick Davis (Judy), Dan Davis (Cathy), Steve Davis, Martha Corbin and Bruce Davis (Silvia); his parents-in-law, Ron and Joyce Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, Don Schmidt (Cyndi) and Ronda Wheeler (Rob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; and all his other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
