He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lathrum and Alice Lathrum. He is survived by: his wife Judith; and his children, Karla Woodward (Mike), Laurie Lathrum and John Lathrum (Suellen). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be directed to the Iowa DNR Fish & Wildlife Trust Fund in Jesse's name.
