With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Beverly Peterson of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Springer and Pearl Springer; her husband Arthur Raymond Peterson; her siblings, Jean, Jim, Joy and Judy; her grandson Jake; and her great grandchild Ray.
She is survived by: her sister Jane Taylor; her son Vince (Sandi); her grandchildren, Angela, Greg (Kendra) and Jon (Holly); her son Jeff (Martha); her grandchildren, Emily (Vern), Sarah (Chris), Ben, Joe (Julia) and Matt; her son Kent (Julie); her grandchildren, Jack (Heather), Kathryn (Chris) and Jessie; her son Brad (Mary); her grandchildren, Abbie (Justin), Erin (Adam) and Adam (Mel); her son Chris (Kristy); and her grandchildren, Jordan (Kyle) and Chloe. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
