She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Iaria and Rose Iaria (Calabrese); her brother-in-law Jim Schmeling; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Helen Schmeling; and her husband Richard "Dick" Schmeling.

She is survived by: her brothers, Paul, Nick and Mick Iaria; and her brothers-in-law, Donald, Larry and Paul Schmeling. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and special friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Anthony Catholic Church in loving memory of JoAnna.
