He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hanchak and Mary Hanchak; and his sister MaryAnn Mach. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Julia Duer (John) and Bradley Hanchak (Lacey); his grandchildren, Greyson, Bowen, Jaxson, Graham, Claire and Levi; and his sister Barbara Jean.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the John & Paul Catholic Church (1401 1st Ave S, Altoona, IA 50009). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tunnel to Towers or Ss.
