It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Rodemeyer of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Rodemeyer and Leona Rodemeyer (Brandt); and his sister-in-law Leslie Rodemeyer. He is survived by: his son Lucas Nielsen (Joy) of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Mark Rodemeyer of Cedar Rapids and Rona Wyant (William) of Marengo; his grandsons, Paxton Nielsen and Austin Price; his aunts, Wanda Brandt Rowray of Cedar Rapids and Judy Anderson of Hampton; and his uncle Mike Rodemeyer of Newton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family for donation to the Whitehouse Alano Club in Des Moines.
