He is survived by: his siblings, Hulda Ann, Virginia and Vince of John's Lutheran Church; his wife Elizabeth Wood (Betty Lou); and his children, Denise Nelson, Tim Nelson (Loree), David Nelson, Erika Fink (Jay), Philip Nelson (Tiki), Peter Nelson (Kelly) and Michael Nelson (JeanEl). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
