He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Stewart and Dorothy Stewart (Grother); his aunts and uncles, Jack, Margaret Stewart, Al, June Fortezzo (Grother) and Bill Grother; and his cousins, Kristin Abbey (Stewart), Brian Grother and Warren Fortezzo.
He is survived by: his cousins, Jeff Fortezzo (Marilyn), Alan Grother (Sheri) and Bev Kreutz (Bill); Marilyn Grother (Munzenmaier).
In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Windsor Heights Lutheran Church or St John's Lutheran Church, Drake University, or Every Step Hospice.
