He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sauer and Velma Sauer (Wildes); his daughter Kathryn; and his close friend Tom Gannon. He is survived by: his wife Mamie Rios; his daughter Jackie (Bruce Hower); his grandson Johnny Anderson; and his siblings, Ron Sauer, Terry Sauer (Marsha) and Kitty Cirks (Tony). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
