He was predeceased by: his father Jeffrey Dowie; his siblings, Shellby Dowie, Angelica Lynn and Gabriel William Glassinger; and his pets, Scooter, Weston, Harley and Sebastian.

He is survived by: his fiancé Brandon Seawel of Des Moines; his mother Myrna; his stepfather Bruce Head of Des Moines; his grandmother Mariam Todd of Kansas; Dave and Lori Seawel of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers: memorial donations may be directed to Jonathan's fiancé, Brandon to be contributed to a charity.
