It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonnie Wright (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Elkins and Jessie Elkins; her husband Virgil "Gene" Wright; her son David Wright; her granddaughter Pamela Hill; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Hill, Carol Waddell (Mike), Mike Wright (Shannon) and Tim Wright. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
