He is survived by: his mother Gricelda Alverez Color; his siblings, Daniela Gutierrez, Alondra Gutierrez and Richard Escobedo; his nieces, Angelina and Catalina; his friends, Steven, Kevin and Andrea; and his close friends, Sergio, Alondra, Mariana, Eddie, Eric, Manuel and Leo.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of America Catholic Church (1271 E 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50316).
