Rose of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret "Peggy" Rose and David Rose; his siblings, Nicole Overcash (Craig), Justin Rose (Jessica), Eric Rose (Rachel), Heidi Rose, Anne Freier (Colby), Mary Anderson (Bryer) and Matt; and his nieces and nephews, Lydia, Addy, Quintin, Sadie, Millie, Bennett, Vivianne, Everett and Lyndi. He was also cherished by his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to Farmington Rescue 1100 or Hope Lodge of Iowa City which housed Joey and his family at no cost through his treatment in Iowa City.
