Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph Yacavona of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 95, on September 12, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Yacavona and Rose Yacavona (Formaro); and his brother Leonard Yacavona. He is survived by: his wife Carmella Cardamon; his children, Rosemarie Yacavona, Mary Jo Pomerantz (Robert), Frank Yacavona and Joy Welsh (Joseph); his grandchildren, William, Maria and Joseph Welsh; and his sister-in-law Thresa Yacavona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony's Catholic Church or Kavanagh House (EveryStep Hospice).
